Once an insert is placed inside the cover, it will fill it out & reduce the size of the pillow. We recommend choosing the next size up. For example, if you would like a 16" x 16" pillow for your sofa, we recommend choosing an 18" x 18" pillow. Also, if you already have an insert, & want pillow covers only, we recommend choosing a cover that is 2" smaller than the insert you have. For example, if you have an 18" x 18" insert, a 16" x 16" cover is what you will need.
